Keep getting kicked out

I am getting kicked out from PHPLiveHelper constantly, especially in the middle of a chat.

The chat screen redraws with the following information:


You don't have permission to access /phplivehelper/admin/adminusers.php on this server.


Ideas?

This is definently a server issue. There is no reason why that error should occur unless the permissions are constantly changing on that file while you are using it. Did this problem just start?

This is a new installation, though, at first, this problem did not exist. I am also getting the following error in the middle of chats:

"You don't have permission to access /phplivehelper/admin/adminsay.php on this server."

I have checked persmissions after receiving these errrors. The directory /phplivehelper/admin is set at 755. The PHP files in that directory all appear to be 644.

People think we are dropping them when they ask difficult questions.

The admin directory should be 775. Give that a try. Also make sure the owners of those files are set right.

This did drive me crazy, but we finally figured out that an installation of a program designed to block DOS attacks caused the problem. The specific program is called mod_dosevasive.
