Upgrade from 1.6 ..Can't Login

First of all let me say it was VERY careless of you to lose or not carry out your backups.

Anyway. I just upgraded from 1.6 to 1.7 and at the login screen I enter the user name and password and it does nothing.

What is the solution to this problem please.

Cosidering you dont even know the circumstances of the data loss I find it hard to beilive that you should comment on that.

At any rate are you getting a error? What happens when you enter the info.

Backups are backups. If you need help there...give me a call and I will work out a strategy for you. :) Free of charge too.

Anyway. No...there is no error. I enter the username and password and then the page returns to enter the username and password again.

I know the username and password are correct because I set up the beta windows client and it logs in fine. Boy is that app slooooow. I know it is only beta so I have nothing to comment about there.

Anyway. What is the solution to my login problem.

Whats the URL to the install?

the url is:

thelogocompany.net/phplive/admin

that will take you to the login screen only. I assume that is what you are asking for.

I just wanted to stop by and say thanks for the online help yesterday. The solution is not to overwrite the existing installation but to delete it (apart from the config.php).
