View Full Version : Wrong State/Province

Just afew different things here id like to adjust.

When a user creates an account before checkout the default State/Province is the same as our shop. I would like them to see "Please Select" and then the list of all states below.

Then This

When looking to edit user in the admin section. Their State/Province in Billing Information tab defaults to the first state in the list. However on the Shipping Information tab everythings seems to be ok.

I have exactly the same issue. However it only happens to foreign buyers.

Has anyone else experience this? ... Apparently after the upgrade from 3.5.1 to 4.0 all of the customer records who did not have a separate Shipping Address listed in the database had their Shipping State listed as Oregon (OR) for some reason. I don't see it as a huge issue because there are no other Shipping Address details that are filled in, but repeat customers are continuously mentioning it to the shop owner because it shows up on their e-mailed receipts. Having the customer login to their account and check the box ''Shipping information is the same as billing" seems to update the Shipping Address just fine.
