Minimum quantities

Hi,

I was wondering if it is possible to implement a 'minimum quantity' for each product as well as a 'buy in multiples' quantity. For example, all our products are priced individually, but you have to buy 12 or 24 or whatever a case/pkg quantity is.

For example: Gloves: 0.74 cts, minimum quantity: 12, buy in dozens. In other words, I want to advertise the 0.74 cts per glove, but can only sell 12, 24, 36 pairs at a time, I can't sell one pair of gloves. I know I can do volume pricing, but that doesn't force my customers to 'round up' their orders to 12 or 24.

This could be as simple as a 'force volume quantities' option on the volume pricing screen.

SunShop 4.0 is running beautifully so far. Great work! I know, I had lost the faith along the way (somewhere around March/April) but now it's out, it is a fine product!

No. I am already using the options for numerous other things, like size, colour, etc.

There isn't any way to force a quantity but the closest to what you need would be the volume pricing.

I think that would be a wonderful option to add to Sunshop, several of my clients have asked for this feature.

Price items individually but sell / charge a box price. Force the user to order per box.

Is this something that is a remote possibility of adding to a future version?

There was a minimum order option per product in Sunshop 3.X but it has been removed in 4.X, why would a feature like that be removed? (I think it was a huge plus having that as an option and hope to see it return)

I agree completely.

I want to be able to sell a box of 2 Tbone steaks for one price, a box of 4 tbones for another price, and a box of 6 tbones for another............. all within the same product listing. We don't sell just 1 steak at a time.

As of now, I have no way of having different options for these different numbers of steaks per box all under the same product listing. I would have to create individual products.

Still looking for a mod for this.
