Free Shipping feature?

We were promised that in SunShop 4 there would be a method to allow free shipping over a certain dollar amount that would allow us to restrict the free shipping to method like UPS Ground or USPS Parcel Post. But in reviewing the online demo, I do not see this feature. Am I overlooking something or was this feature not developed into SunShop 4?

The only free shipping method seems to be in the discount area, but then it would apply to all shipping methods allowing someone to select next day or second day delivery as their free shipping method.

Please advise as to the status of the free shipping over a certain dollar amount feature that is automatic and allows the shipping method to restricted to certain basic shipping methods.

Yes you can do this, in fact it was touched upon in a tracker ticket where we explained exactly how to do this. Go into the individual shipping modules on the demo. Install the fedex module and then goto the settings for it. You will see it there.

Hi Chris,

Please provide a link to the tracker ticket where this is explained. I did a search on free AND shipping and did not see an explaination other than to uninstall and then install the module.

Further I installed Federal Express and FedEx Freight on the demo as you suggested and neither one presented a screen that made it apparent that you can apply free shipping after a certain dollar amount.

Please advise on how this is supposed to be set up. Thanks!

See attached image, you add the discount as normal and set the free methods in the individual modules.

Chris, is this only available for Fed Ex then, and not USPS? 80% of my business is small orders, so I use USPS for those, but Fed Ex for wholesale orders (though I can't use the Fed Ex module because I use oz instead of lb for weight).

Yes it is available for USPS and DHL and UPS. I urge you to try it. Dont' go by what you see on the demo for USPS because its a preinstalled module and a older version. If you uninstall the module and reinstall it you will see it for USPS on the demo as well.

I am trying to do the same, but no luck. I picked my free shipping with UPS to be ground. When I use the code UPS shipping is not changed to free. Can you advise? Web site is balkanbuy.com and code for free shipping is NO BOTTLES OR JARS
