highlight new orders

I have upgraded 4 customers to the new 4.0 from 3.5.1 and the impressions have been very positive,except for one thing: before, on 3.5.1 and earlier, a brand new order that has not been modiied, would be highlighted in yellow, in transaction view, now they are not.... this was a great fetaure to easily spot orders that have not been processed yet, and all of my customes want it back... is there any way for you to do this, or do i have to try and mof=dify myself. please advise

We also use a mod in 3.51 where the "awaiting shipment" orders would show up blue so we could go go thru them faster. Probably wouldn't be hard to hack it.

I did not upgrade to 4.0 yet but new orders must be highlighted for easy handling. What I do not understand is when you upgrade you usually keep the "good things" and add new "good things" , TWT on the other hand removed the "BUY X GET Y FREE" discount option which existied in 3.5 and now it does not exist in 4.0, likewise this very handy feature of highlighting new orders has been removed from 4.0 even though it existed in 3.5.

I am stunned as well.. does not make sense.. It was so easy before to identify new orders. Now orders come in and they state payment received/awaiting shipment where before they were highligted in yellow and were payment received/pending.. Also all orders default to USPS as the carrier, Order notes are a pain (any existing order notes from version 3.5.2 are completely gone and replaced with the new system.. Usability on the backend was not well thought out and once TWT gets through dealing with the problems that have created with 4.0 they really need to get someone at the helm that will bring some focus on usability and reliability of the code. Another example is when you go to edit a transaction, check the User ID, all mine say 1
QA QA QA QA (Quality Assurance) Turnkey needs at least 2 full-time QA staff for good measure.
I am sorry - I dig this product when it works - getting there is sometimes frustrating..
