Good day,

After data is entered for the search, the mouse click is required for the submit button instead of just being able to hit the enter key.

This is out of the norm for all other search functions in the Web Site and most other programs.

Did not know if you would classified this as a bug or not, or if have a reason for it to functioning this way, that is why I posted it here instead of the bug tracker.

Please let me know your thoughts on this and if I should enter this into the bug tracker or not.

Thank you

Addition note: Search from home page does not query SKU number

Because there is no submit button and only a input button, this is the way it will function. If you want people to be able to hit the enter key you can change the input button to a submit button.

Good day, Chris

Please provide more clarification with your answers, I know that it can be changed, however, with this in RC we have know way to know what you will change the before the next release.

For us to make changes at this point could mean that our work is a wasted effort if you change the same files we change and it would also create a guessing game as to which files are needed for us to change when the next release comes out.

With out direct answers we are placed on hold not knowing for sure what is happening or having any kind of direction.

With my position in the project I am involved with I have people to answer to that are not going to consider this responce provided to be any kind of answer or direction.

Please help me out on this!!

Do you or do you not consider this a bug?

Will you or will you not consider this to be implemented?

If it will be implement, when?

What about the Addition note: Search from home page does not query SKU number?

Will you or will you not consider this to be implemented?

If it will be implement, when?

Please understand my position on this, I am not trying to be rude here, I am only trying to get the information I require to have direction in what I am doing.

Like I said, I have people I have to answer to, the answer that you have just provided is the same as what I have received in the trouble ticket I entered and the information in the bug tracker.
It is not an answer.

Also please respond to my question, ticket 175 in the bug tracker!

Thank you for your time and understanding on this matter.

Note: I am also waiting for a reply on Bug Tracker ticket 176

I don't consider this a bug, and as I stated in my response, "this is the way it will function". If you find it to be a problem you are free to make the change as I suggested. As far as things changing between now and the final version I would say they most likely will so you may better better off waiting until the final version before you make the change. Try the inputting the following into the form code to see if it works.

<input type="submit" style="width: 0px; height: 0px; border: none">

Hello Chris
I just dropped by the forums to see how the support on our project is being handled today and I see that the post by CT-Mirror asked a numbers of questions and I see by your post you answered only one of them. I do think the other questions is important to our project and should be answered.

Please take the time and help us out on this Chris
Thanks for you time Russell CT Project Mgr
