tax and shipping

While in the trial of Version 4 beta, I would like to confirm:

1, for tax, how to handle this:

For different products, we charge different tax, say in BC canada, some products, GST and PST need to be charged, but for some other products, only GST is charged;

2, for shipping, if realtime shipping is seleted, is there a way to handle this:

For local customers, they may want to pick the products without any shipping charges. But it seems that there is no choice for picking up if realtime shipping modules are selected.
