View Full Version : improve text visibility at question mark mouse overs in admin popups

When I mouse over some of the little question marks at the left of boxes from inside admin, I can't read the text. It gets lopped off by the edge of the little popup windows that open.

For instance, if I edit a product from Admin, and click on Add at Downloads, I need to see the help text to the left of the boxes I want to learn how to fill in. When I mouse over the question marks, the text is more than halfway beyond the edge of the little Downloads window, and I cannot move the mouse in such a way that the text is shifted sufficiently to make it viewable.

Thank you for reading this over.

That is strange. This has been tested in IE, Firefox, & Netscape. May I ask what browser/operating system you are using? What version of the software (Turnkey Software) are you using?

I had the same problem. I do like this cart but the documentation stinks.

There is no documentation for 4.0 yet. It will be made available shortly after 4.0 is released final.

Here is the docs on Froogle

Froogle Feed

Froogle feed exports froogle feed data and depending on the settings in "Froogle Settings", it will either automatically FTP it to froogle or prompt you to download the froogle data.

If you click on Save your system will allow you to choose a location to save the data to.

Almost as helpful as the mouseover boxes that cut off the text. Xcart had a section in their forum on the flow of the coding, now that would be extremely helpful to those of us that are trying to figure this out on our own. It's like 20 giant crossword puzzles put in a grocery bag and shook up and now you have to put them all together and your income depends on getting them done perfect and in a timely manner. Where in the documentation should I go to find real documentation the on the html generation as this is what is in the docs:

GENERATE HTML PAGES

Clicking this link will generate HTML pages of all your products in your shop. The URL from the Secure URL in the General Settings will be used to generate the pages.
For shops with many products you may be taken through a number of pages depending on how many products you have in your shop.

Is this telling me all of my pages will have my secure url in the address?

Now, when you do generate the pages the instructions tell you to move the files, am I supposed to move the files somewhere or just leave them in the html directory. And is the site supposed to switch from php to html pages at will or should they all be one or the other? :o

And where can I find documentation on how to get the /sunshop/ out of all of my url's and what templates you need to alter. You know, leaving the name of the cart on the bottom of the page is bad enough, but having it in every single url is really not very smart. Let the hackers work for their fun. I'm not sure I like hanging my laundry out like that. This concerns me but I can't find any docs on this process, imho, we should all be concerned about this.

1. Froogle feed is outdated and as of 4.0 will be switch to google base.

2. The HTML pages do not actually need to be moved, you can leave them where they are. Also, the page generation is actually called securely is what the information is stating. Just click the generate link and assuming the permissions are set correctly on the /html folder it will do the rest for you.

3. When you install SunShop it can be installed anywhere you choose you don't need to install it in the sunshop directory, it will just extract to that directory by default. If you want to move everything to the root of your domain simply move the files and then alter the URL and secure URL in the general settings. Thats all it takes.

my "help" pop-up boxes work great, and help a lot in 4.0 beta 9. Even though all of them aren't complete.
