Email Content

I have tried doing searches, but have not found where the content of email messages can be changed. I am trying to update the "offline message" emails.

what exactly are you trying to change in the offline message email? :confused:

I would like to change the subject, and add a comment at the front of the body. I would also like to include the Department if possible, as several use the same email address.

You are going to need to edit the PHP file that handels the email directly. That will be the only way to change the subject.
