User requests a chat

Admin responds and starts chatting

Admin clicks on the "info" link in the upper-half status display

Lower window clears and displays the browser tag/other info as it should

Admin and user continue chatting BUT

No text is displayed in the lower admin window

None of the chat text is transmitted - anything the user types is only displayed on his local screen and never seen on the admin screen, and anything the admin types is not displayed on the admin screen and not transmitted to the user screen

the admin screen stays with the "info command" data displayed in the lower window

Until you reclick that IP address the chat session will not return... I am not sure if I am just not understanding the problem or not though.

Are you saying that if an admin is in a "chat" and then clicks the "info" button, the admin must click the IP address again to switch back to that chat?

If that is the case there should be an icon or status message next to the IP address in the top screen saying something like "chat paused" or some other indicator that there is an active chat but the admin must do something to continue with it.

Or a button in the lower window saying something like "click here to resume chat already in progress"

When you are clicked away from the person you are chatting with, the little icon next to there IP will flash if they type a new message. In order to start chatting again with that person you need to reclick their IP. The status however will remain the same the whole time... it should say "Chatting: ADMIN_NAME"
